Black Alder Ranch is a small family farm with poultry, goats, pigs & cattle. Predators include coyote, bear, mountain lion, & wolves, as well as dogs, coon, weasel, fox, & areal predators.
Our dogs have OFA/PennHIP certification for Canine Hip Dysplasia, and our puppies are placed with a contract and health warranties, & a lifetime of support!
Our puppies are raised with livestock and we use Puppy Culture, a positive reinforcement-based & socialization program.
This litter will be going to Benson Maremmas LGD Training in southern Oregon, which will be a wonderful advantage for these puppies (and you!), with science-based training methods by KPA certified trainer Cindy Benson, who has many years of LGD experience as well as extensive training in animal behavior science. Her methods will build upon the foundation we establish with the pups here.
These puppies will all have their hips done via PennHIP at 4 months of age before they are placed in their new homes.
You may pick up your puppy in Gold Hill, OR, or may be able to arrange for delivery via ground transport.
